The Company Obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS)
Recently, FREP successfully passed the review conducted by the third-party authoritative certification body SCS and obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS). This milestone signifies the Company's entry into the international sustainable development and low-carbon circular economy system, ushering in a new chapter of green development.
FREP has consistently focused on achieving the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, adhered to the concept that "Clean Water and Lush Mountains Are Our Invaluable Assets", delved into the petrochemical sector, committed to building a more comprehensive waste recycling system, and continuously advanced the green and low-carbon transformation, to achieve a win-win situation for environmental, social, and economic benefits. The attainment of this certification not only enhances the credibility and brand reputation of the Company's products but also facilitates collaboration with other sustainability certification organizations, thus effectively meeting customer demand for low-carbon and circular economy products. Going forward, the Company will seize this opportunity to gathering its developmental strengths, proactively procure ISCC PLUS-certified waste plastic cracking feed, and process them into renewable products such as polyethylene and polypropylene. This will continuously expand the Company's product market, further enhance the added value and green competitiveness of its products, and secure a favorable position in the intense market competition.
The ISCC system (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) originated in Germany and is a globally leading independent multi-stakeholder initiative and certification system. It is dedicated to promoting the development of sustainable, fully traceable, deforestation-free, and climate-friendly supply chains. Its certification covers all segments of the value chain, ensuring the use of renewable materials. Recognized internationally as a quality balance certification system, it serves as a "green passport" for global sustainable supply chains. (Qin Qingling)
