Clear Objectives Set the Course, "Petrochemical Theoretical Publicity" Unveils a New Chapter
To thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to implement the long-term mechanism for building political mentality, enhancing wisdom, rectifying conduct, and promoting actions through learning, Publicity Department of the Party Group of Sinopec Group has launched the "Petrochemical Theoretical Publicity” campaign across the entire system. The Party Committee of FPCL has attached great importance to the campaign. They have established the company's "Petrochemical Theoretical Publicity" group, which includes six light publicity cavalry teams dedicated to publicizing the Party's innovative theories and current tasks. The kick-off ceremony of the campaign and the first publicity meeting of 2025 was held on March 27.
Zhang Xiguo, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, has set clear requirements for the event, emphasizing the need for flexible implementation and a focus on publicity effectiveness. The goal is to promptly disseminate the Party's innovative theories, the guiding principles set forth by the CPC Central Committee, directives of higher authorities, and the arrangements of Party Committee of the Company to the frontline organizations and employees, thereby fostering consensus and taking unified actions.
Yang Fei, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Company, attended the kick-off ceremony and presented appointment letters to representatives of the members of the publicity group. Yang Fei set forth requirements for the publicity campaign, emphasizing the need to improve political awareness and profoundly recognize the significance of the "Petrochemical Theoretical Publicity” campaign. He advocated for the utilization of the "three stresses (stresses on study, politics and integrity)" to forge the "Petrochemical Theoretical Publicity” campaign into a distinguished brand. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of ensuring three "thorough implementations" to drive the campaign to greater depth and effectiveness.
The first session of the publicity campaign focused on present situation and tasks, featuring a structured presentation across three aspects: analysis of the current market situation, key tasks for this year, and the difficulties and priorities in enhancing quality and profitability.
Chen Shaofeng, General Manager of Supply & Distribution Department of FREP, addressed the topic "Analysis of the Current Market and Economic Situation", providing insights into the present macroeconomic environment, industry trends, policy directions, and the opportunities and challenges faced by the Company, in which he aimed to boost the morale and confidence of the cadres and staff.
Zhang Zhiping, Deputy Manager of Production and Operation Department of FPCL, analyzed the "challenges and priorities for enhancing quality and profitability this year," outlining the critical tasks and primary measures to this end.
Liu Wei, the Secretarial Supervisor of the General Manager's Office (Party Office) of FPCL, elucidated the Company's annual key tasks under the theme "Understanding This Year's Priorities from the Work Report."
The publicity campaign was conducted through a combination of on-site conference and video conference, with the main venue located at Fulian Building.
