The Company Engaged in a Collaborative Development Exchange Forum with Fujian Gulei Petrochemical Company


  On March 24, Lin Xu, the Acting President of the Company, along with Vice Presidents Li Ji and Haytham Zamzami, led the heads of relevant departments to Fujian Gulei Petrochemical Company for a collaborative development exchange forum. Zhao Tianxing, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Fujian Gulei Petrochemical Company, Vice President Chen Guodong, and relevant department heads attended the activity.

  Zhao Tianxing extended a warm welcome to Lin Xu and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the longstanding trust and support from FREP. It is hoped that both parties will comprehensively strengthen cooperation in the seven business areas of technology, equipment, safety, finance, commerce, production, and personnel, further expanding the depth and breadth of collaboration. He stressed to adhere to the principle of "1+1>2", focusing on shared difficulties and pain points, and to work together for the same target; to uphold the principle of market orientation, sharing risks and achievements while following market laws; to maintain the principle of transparency, enhancing mutual trust and promoting interoperability in information exchange and process control, thus to further deepen mutual assistance, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation.

  Lin Xu expressed delight at the achievements made in the collaborative development and strategic cooperation, and was filled with hope for the future prospects of cooperation between the two parties. He stated that, in the current severe market environment, and with the increasingly fierce competition in the ethylene industry, the optimal solution for both parties to leverage their respective strengths, maximize resource utilization, and jointly withstand the market downturn, is collaborative development and strategic cooperation to overcome challenges. It is hoped that both parties will meet their needs and leverage their respective strengths to continuously deepen cooperation and jointly address challenges, comprehensively promoting the coordinated and optimized operation of the Quangang and Gulei bases. By learning from each other and pursuing mutual benefits, the two companies will collectively forge a brighter future.

  At the forum, the achievements made in the exchange and collaboration in business areas such as joint procurement, professional management, and personnel training since the signing of the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for Synergetic Development by both parties in July 2023 were fully commended. Furthermore, a consensus was reached to enhance cooperation in areas such as direct supply of light cracking feedstock. (Xuanwen)
